The Lauwers Family | Ephrata, PA Family Session

Where to begin describing this session... It is more than just a series of images. This session is a sad and happy send-off to a family that will be missed by so many! Since day one, the Lauwers' have been the most amazing cheerleaders for my art and my business. We've had many sessions over the past several years, but just as many good times spent as friends. Last week they packed up their home in PA and this week will become official Ohio residents. They will begin new jobs, new schools, a new life. Life is an adventure they say, and it's my warmest wish that the Lauwers' are enjoying this little twist and turn in theirs. It's my second warmest wish that this will not be the last time you see them on the blog! I've enjoyed watching this family grow in front of my camera and I look forward to continue doing so, whether near or far, here or Kalamazoo! Let's get this post started with a shot of the boys next to their PA mailbox and the purple clematis their pretty momma loves so much. Next will be a few family photos taken at a beautiful covered bridge, followed by a few snapped at one of the family's favorite parks. We'll wrap it up with a few images captured on one of dad's final days at work... which also happened to be his 10th anniversary with the company! To mark the occasion, an ice cream truck (with its signature song playing loudly!) handed out choco tacos and nutty cones in his honor. Co-workers enjoyed their sweet treats while sharing stories and wishing him continued success. It was a moving afternoon and I'm so happy to have been there to capture it.

Thank you SO much, Lauwers Family, for all your love and support over the years. Cheers to this new chapter in your adventure, Ohio is lucky to have you!
